Paul Cansdale joined Aquaterra Energy as Finance Director in January 2024. Paul’s role is to ensure the growth of the business is sustainably supported from a financial, risk and governance perspective. Paul brings with him a wealth of finance leadership experience gained primarily from within UK and US listed manufacturing and engineering businesses.
Prior to joining Aquaterra Energy, Paul was Divisional Finance Director for James Fisher Fendercare, one of the largest operating divisions of the James Fisher and Sons PLC marine services group, where he supported significant geographical expansion of the business. He also worked as Vice President Finance & IT for Crane Building Services & Utilities, a division of the NYSE listed Crane Co. Crane Building Services & Utilities is a market leading designer and manufacturer of engineered products to the building sector, and whilst there Paul oversaw financial operations in the UK, China and the Middle East.
Paul is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) where he was admitted as a member in 1995.
