George has been with Aquaterra Energy since its formation in 2005, initially as the Project and Operations Director, before assuming the role of the company’s Managing Director from 2006-2012, and again from 2016-2018. George played a pivotal role in guiding the company’s expansion into offshore wind, green hydrogen and Carbon Capture and Storage in 2020, and now holds the position of CEO.
Andy re-joined Aquaterra Energy in 2018 as our Operations Director, after previously serving as the Sales and Marketing Director from 2009 to 2012. In 2024, he transitioned into the position of Delivery Director, where he oversees the safe delivery of our offshore engineering products and services for global projects in oil & gas, offshore wind, hydrogen and carbon capture and storage. Additionally, Andy is responsible for managing our warehouse operations, including the servicing and maintenance of all our offshore tools and equipment.
Anne joined the Aquaterra Energy team in 2022 as our Renewables Director to lead and grow the renewable energy arm of our business. In 2024 she transitioned to our Strategy and Commercial Director assuming responsibility for driving overall growth across our business, encompassing oil & gas as well as our energy transition products and services, with a focus on Carbon Capture and Storage, Offshore Wind and Offshore Renewable Hydrogen development.
Paul Cansdale joined Aquaterra Energy as Finance Director in January 2024. Paul’s role is to ensure the growth of the business is sustainably supported from a financial, risk and governance perspective. Paul brings with him a wealth of finance leadership experience gained primarily from within UK and US listed manufacturing and engineering businesses.
Stewart joined Aquaterra Energy as Technical Director in May 2013. In this capacity, he spearheads technical innovations across all facets of the business, encompassing wells and riser solutions, offshore analysis, the flagship offshore platform Sea Swift, offshore wind, hydrogen, and offshore CCS.
Simon is the QHSE and Sustainability Director at Aquaterra Energy and has been with the company since 2014. He is responsible for the development of our QHSE & Sustainability strategies for our global sites and operations. He is a Masters qualified, Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), also holding a Diploma in Environmental Management.
Louise is our Marketing Director and has been a member of the senior team since joining Aquaterra Energy in January 2018. A Chartered Marketer via the Chartered Institute of Marketing, she has over 15 years of experience, gained via working with global businesses to help grow and develop their brands worldwide.
Ben is our Innovation Director at Aquaterra Energy. Ben is responsible for driving innovation across our oil & gas and energy transition service and product lines. He has spearheaded the development and launch of numerous riser/subsea related products to date, including our 15k PSI AQC-SR and CW connectors, legacy well re-entry and abandonment services for CCS and the digitalisation of both existing and new services.
Ginny joined Aquaterra Energy as Director of Human Resources in November 2020. Degree qualified through the CIPD Ginny brings over 25 years of experience leading HR functions for a range of culturally diverse companies, from multinational pharmaceutical businesses to field-based SMEs.
