Who are we?

Aquaterra Energy Limited is a company incorporated and registered in England with company number 05522539. Aquaterra is the controller of personal data relating to individuals within its client firms and prospective client firms for the purposes of providing products and services, relationship management, marketing and business development.

Personal information we collect or obtain about you

We collect personal data relating to you and your use of our services from a variety of sources. These are detailed below.  Further sections of this Privacy Policy then describe what we do with this information.

Information gained directly from you

We will collect personal data, such as your name, designation, business address, business and personal telephone numbers, business and personal email addresses via: Meetings, telephone calls and conversations, from business cards, when entering into a contract for our products and services, from emails, when submitting an enquiry via our website and from cookies when using our websites.

We have CCTVs in place that will collect personal data in the form of image. We will do this in order to ensure staff safety and to capture footage of any security incidents that might occur in the premises or the surrounding area. In all locations, signs are in place to notify you that CCTV is in operation and will provide you with details of who to contact for further information.

We use various technology to collect and store information about you when you use our website, including the use of cookies to identify your browser or device.  In particular, we use Google Analytics, which is a product that helps us analyse the traffic to our website.

How will we use your personal data?

Who we share your data with

We may share information outside of the EU (i.e. with our offices in Norway and Cairo).  Where appropriate, we will get further concent for the transfer of such data from you. When sharing information with this third countries we ensure adequate protection for the transfer of personal data via encryption and 2-factor authentication.

Occasionally we might share CCTV footage with the police if requested to do so.

We do not sell your personal data or other information to any third-party.

Retention period

We will only keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was gained.  We will review the personal data we hold on you in line with our retention policy, to check for accuracy and relevancy and to ensure we continue to have a legal basis for processing. If the personal data is no longer necessary, or where we no longer have the legal basis for processing we will delete or fully anonymise the data we hold on you, in line with our Data Protection Policy. If your data becomes inaccurate, we will update it accordingly.
