Paul has more than 30 years of experience in the Energy and Resources markets. Paul held senior roles with British Gas, BG Group & Shell where he was commercial lead of Shell’s Gas-to-Liquid plant in Qatar, Shell’s largest ever project. Post Shell, Paul served as Managing Director for Petrofac, a leading international service provider to the energy industry. In the recent past Paul has worked with a number of PE backed companies and has served as COO of a waste to energy company that has just listed on Nasdaq. Paul is currently involved in a number of start-ups involved in energy transition including biogas, hydrogen and green power.
Paul is a physicist by background with a BA/MA from Oxford University followed by a D Phil in materials physics also from Oxford. Paul was an academic at Oxford before moving to industry.
