According to the latest Lloyds TSB England and Wales Regional Purchasing Managers’ Index, English regions have recorded their strongest growth on record in at least 12 years. The overall index of business activity across all British regions increased to 60.0 in July, compared to last month’s index of 55.9.
According to the survey, companies in the East of England have been witnessing an increase in new orders driven by new customers and Patrick Phelan, managing director of Aquaterra Energy, said: “Business growth, fuelled by customer confidence, continues in East of England, stimulated by companies like Aquaterra Energy who are investing in innovation, delivering leading edge offshore engineering all over the world, and creating exciting international career opportunities.
Our headquarters are in Norwich but we have offices in the important energy hubs of Aberdeen in Scotland, Malaysia and USA, all of which are delivering exceptional growth.”
