Aquaterra Energy has beaten off strong competition to win two prestigious business awards for International Enterprise and Business of the Year.
Aquaterra entered the EDP’s 21st Business Awards for the International Enterprise category and were proudly crowned the winners following a head office visit and review of the company’s international success. It is the first year the Eastern Daily Press newspaper has run the International Enterprise award and Aquaterra were deemed worthy first winners.
Having been shortlisted for the International Enterprise award Aquaterra was automatically considered for the big prize of the night, the ‘Business of the Year’ which the company also won!
Judges were impressed at how Aquaterra exports both Norfolk skills and innovation across the world and is establishing industry and higher education links within the county.
Aquaterra Managing Director, George Morrision accepted both awards and commented, “We are thrilled to win these awards; they recognise the remarkable work we have done over the last five years and the success of the team we have put together. As a team we have established Aquaterra Energy as an international success in the oil and gas industry.”
Aquaterra has become renowned in the Eastern region for its success in the energy sector and is swiftly spreading this message internationally. The firm is no stranger to the Awards, winning Best New Business in 2007.
